Community Support
Every quarter, Genito Presbyterian chooses an area of special need in the community or region which will be the focus of greater prayer and thoughtful giving. Our most recent projects were:
Madeline's House (Southside Center for Violence Prevention)
We collected donations of household goods and money to stock the temporary shelter provided for those in imminent danger from domestic and sexual violence.
Ronald MacDonald House Charities of Richmond
We assembled activity packs for the Happy Wheels program. These packs of small toys and entertaining activities are provided to families who wait long hours in the pediatric wards of local hospitals.

Thanksgiving Complete Meal
We support the effort of the Powhatan Food Pantry to make sure everyone in our area has a good Thanksgiving dinner.

Blessing Box
The Genito Presbyterian Church Blessing Box allows community members in need to help themselves as needed or leave donations for others.
Pat Nelson Food Collection Project
The Pat Nelson Food Collection Project – provides food for the needy. Canned and dry foods can be placed in the designated area in the church foyer.
